A RETROSPECTIVE (PART IV) - ROISIN MURPHY AND MOLOKO

Moloko was comprised of Róisín Murphy from Ireland and English Mark Brydon. They became well-known in 2000 with their song "The Time is Now" from the album Things To Make And Do. Their final studio album "Statues" released in 2003 featured my favourite song from the band called "Familiar Feeling." The chorus is brilliantly rhythmic and hypnotic. The video below is so stylish (check out the dancing) and features the English actor (of Irish descent) Paddy Considine.

I saw Moloko in London in 2003, so I have to add this video here to show how great they are live. The bass in this song "Cannot Contain This" is incredible and the vibe in this performance is electric.
